On April 16th, 2025 we inaugurated our brand new visa application centre in Casablanca, Morocco. This inauguration marked the final stage of a project to renew TLScontact’s centres in Morocco, as part of a new visa outsourcing contract signed with the French authorities in 2024. In total, six new centres have been opened in the past four months, with the aim of improving customer experience for Moroccan visa applicants.
The inauguration ceremony took place in the presence of His Excellency Mr Christophe Lecourtier, French Ambassador to Morocco, His Excellency Mr Gilles Heyvaert, Belgian Ambassador to Morocco, as well as representatives from the Moroccan authorities and many other local diplomatic missions.
The largest TLScontact centre in Africa
The new centre in Casablanca, with a surface area of 3,500 m² spread over three levels, was built in just five months. Located in the heart of Casablanca’s diplomatic district, it can accommodate up to 1,200 visa applicants per day. This makes it the largest TLScontact centre on the African continent, and one of the biggest in the world, alongside our centres in Tunis, Rabat, Cairo, Beijing and Shanghai. The centre offers a range of services to enhance customer experience, including a premium lounge, a visa application form filling assistance service, and “Prime Time” appointments, outside of traditional office hours.
This inauguration follows the signing of a new visa outsourcing contract in 2024 with the French authorities, which has seen the renewal of almost all the TLScontact centres in Morocco over the past six months.
Gabriele Piva, CEO of TLScontact, also present at the inauguration ceremony, commented:
“This inauguration marks the last step in a project led by our teams to completely rethink the customer experience for Moroccan visa applicants. We now have more modern, more accessible centres, designed according to our most recent group standards, allowing us to welcome applicants in the best possible conditions. This achievement is the result of the outstanding work of our team in Morocco, whose professionalism and dedication continue to set a high standard. It also reflects the strength of our long-standing partnership with France in Morocco, a relationship that began in 2014 and will continue at least until 2032 under the terms of the renewed contract.”
Launch of the “Apply Anywhere” service
This opening was an opportunity to introduce a new service in Casablanca: “Apply Anywhere“ Also available in the north of the country, from the TLScontact centre in Rabat, this service is aimed at people who cannot or do not wish to come to the centre to submit their visa application. By appointment only, TLScontact agents come to the applicant’s home or place of work, with all the necessary equipment to collect their supporting documents and carry out biometric enrolment, under the same conditions as in a visa application centre. The service is personalised, confidential, and allows applicants to save precious time while avoiding crowded places.
