TLScontact is proud to announce the opening this week of a network of new visa application centres for Germany across Central Asia, strengthening its partnership with the German Federal Foreign Office and enhancing access to visa services in the region.
As of July 1st 2025, brand new centres are now operational in Yerevan (Armenia), Almaty and Astana (Kazakhstan), Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), Dushanbe (Tajikistan), and Tashkent (Uzbekistan). These openings follow the successful inauguration of a centre in Baku (Azerbaijan) on June 17th. An additional centre is scheduled to open shortly in Teheran (Iran), further extending the company’s footprint in the region.
This expansion follows the award of a new contract by the German Federal Foreign Office at the end of 2024 to operate visa services on behalf of Germany throughout Central Asia. Depending on the location, our new centres will process applications for both short-term Schengen visas and long-term national visas. Legalisation services will also be available in selected locations.
A range of services to enhance customer experience
Each centre is housed in a newly built facility designed to meet the company’s latest global standards. Applicants will benefit from a range of additional services designed to provide greater flexibility and comfort, including a premium lounge, prime time appointments and passport collection outside standard working hours. Our “Apply Anywhere” service will also be available, enabling applicants to complete their biometric enrolment at a location of their choice.
To further support the application process, dedicated multilingual websites have been launched for each location, available in English, German, and various local languages.
Intensive training and on-site support to ensure a smooth launch
More than 100 new team members have been recruited across the region for the launch of the new centres. Each member of staff has undergone intensive training covering our systems, German visa procedures and customer service standards, to ensure a seamless and professional experience for all applicants. To support the launch, local teams have been joined on-site by experienced personnel from our international operations network, providing hands-on support and knowledge transfer during the critical early days of service. This collaborative approach has played a key role in ensuring operational readiness and service quality from day one.
Commenting on these centre openings, Gabriele Piva, CEO of TLScontact, said:
“These new centres represent a significant step forward in our collaboration with the German Federal Foreign Office and a major expansion of our global operations on behalf of Germany. I would like to thank the German authorities for their renewed confidence in us and our teams for all their hard work to deliver this major project on time and to the highest standards.”
TLScontact now operates on behalf of Germany in 17 countries. Visit the dedicated website to find the full list of centres.
