New websites for Schengen visa applicants

We recently completed the rollout of new websites for all our Schengen clients, with a new, more user-friendly interface for visa applicants, to guide them more easily through the visa application process.

Demonstrating our commitment to client and applicant satisfaction, this project will be followed by further improvements to our websites in the coming months.

A new, more intuitive browsing experience for visa applicants

Over the past three months, TLScontact’s web, IT and project management teams have been hard at work bringing online new websites for all our Schengen clients. The objective of this ambitious project was to create a more user-friendly browsing experience for visa applicants, to guide them through the visa application process. With this in mind, the teams developed a simpler user interface for applicants, redesigning the Schengen websites to ensure that users could access the information they need more quickly and easily.

The new websites take applicants step-by-step through their visa application and provide simple, relevant information at key points in their online journey. Applicants can find information on the application process itself, useful documents and links, as well as a presentation of the added value services that TLScontact offers to enhance their visa experience. The websites are compatible with a wide range of web browsers and portable devices and have been optimised to make them accessible to people with visual and other physical impairments, in line with international web accessibility standards.

In total, 150 locations, 330 websites in 18 different languages have been launched since the beginning of September. These cover visa applications to the following countries:

In line with our commitment to continuous improvement in customer service, this project follows on from the launch of new websites for UK visa applicants in over one hundred locations earlier this year. New functionalities will be added to our Schengen websites in the coming months, as we pursue our efforts to optimise the online journey for visa applicants and improve customer experience.
