TLScontact inaugurates new visa application centre for France in Jakarta

On September 23rd, TLScontact inaugurated a brand new visa application centre for France in Jakarta, Indonesia, in the presence of Fabien Penone, French Ambassador to Indonesia, and Elsa Rochier, French Consule. This inauguration follows a series of new centre openings for France across Southeast Asia over the past 12 months, strengthening TLScontact’s presence in this fast-growing region of the world.

TLScontact has represented France in Indonesia since 2010. We relocated our Jakarta visa application centre following the renewal of our contract with the French Embassy in Indonesia earlier in 2024. The new centre is located in the prestigious Plaza Office Tower in central Jakarta, and is close to all means of public transport, for greater customer convenience.

The centre has been designed in accordance with our global architectural standards, developed to enhance the visa application experience. These include the use of warm colours, wood and vegetation, to create a modern, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for applicants. We have also implemented the “Your visa centre” concept, to illustrate our focus on providing a high-quality, personalised customer experience.

The official inauguration ceremony took place on September 23rd, in the presence of His Excellency Fabien Penone, French Ambassador to Indonesia, who commented:

“The setting up of this new visa centre is very important, as the experience of travelling to France begins here, with TLScontact acting as our interface with visa applicants, now in truly optimal reception conditions. This inauguration occurs on the eve of an important milestone, with the 75th anniversary next year of diplomatic relations between France and Indonesia. This visa centre is ready, as are my teams at the Embassy, to welcome all those who want to come to France, to study, to do business, or simply to discover a country that loves Indonesia. Bienvenue en France ! Welcome to France!”

Mathieu Béchu, Zone Manager for Southeast Asia, was the official TLScontact representative at the inauguration, and declared:

“We thank the French Embassy in Indonesia for their renewed confidence in TLScontact. We are very proud to inaugurate this new centre, which demonstrates our strong commitment to the growing Indonesian market and to promoting France as an important destination among Indonesian visa applicants.”
